2.1. Provision of the website and creation of log files

We collect and use this technical information for purposes of (network) security (such as to combat cyberattacks), marketing, and to be able to better understand our users' needs, as well as to continuously improve our website and to enable us to deliver the website to the user's computer system.
The data is stored in log files in order to ensure that the website functions properly. This data also helps us optimize the website and ensure the security of our IT systems. It is not analyzed for marketing purposes in this connection.
The legal basis for the temporary storage of data and log files is Article 6(1)(f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2.2.1. Customer newsletter
You can subscribe to a free newsletter on our website. The data entered in the input screen when registering for the newsletter is sent to us and processed:
• E-mail address
• Form of address
• Title
• First name
• Last name
• Company name
• Country
The following data is also collected during registration:
• The date and time of registration
The following data on usage behavior is collected:
• Opening patterns
• Clicking patterns
• Log-offs
During registration, your consent to the processing of the data is obtained and your attention is drawn to this data privacy statement.
Contact data and data on usage behavior are stored electronically at a service provider and analyzed and processed solely by Hawker Pacific Aerospace for the purpose of improving its customer service and sending out newsletters.
We process your data in connection with the newsletter in order to send you news on interesting topics from the world of Hawker Pacific Aerospace. We also process and use registration and usage data to send you your newsletter with personalized and tailored content.
If a link from the newsletter takes you to our website, you also give us your permission to process and use your IP address as well as geodata, web beacons or similar technologies, in order to check whether the offers made to you met your requirements.
The legal basis for processing data after the user has registered for the newsletter is Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR in cases where the user has given consent. 
2.2.2. Customer contact data
Contact data which a sales employee at a Hawker Pacific Aerospace company receives from the employees of our potential or actual customers for the purpose of business communication is recorded in our shared CRM system and is thus also available to other companies in the Lufthansa Technik Group for that purpose. 
2.2.5 User administration in our partner portal
If you want to use our partner portal owing to existing contracts with our suppliers and partners, you must first be registered as a user. To do this, we will need the following information from you: First name, last name, telephone number, e-mail address and partner organization. After you log in, several applications that are available via the portal can be called up directly (single sign-on). If an application is called up, session cookies, the user ID and the organization of the user who has logged in are transferred to that application. 
2.2.6. Statistical analyses
It cannot be ruled out that your data will be analyzed in a data warehouse so that our users' preferences can be evaluated ("statistical analyses"), to enable marketing oriented to users' interests, personalized user address and the continuous optimization of our business processes. We process the data in this way to gain a better understanding of what our customers expect from us and to be able to offer them personal communication tailored to their needs. These analyses also help us in fraud detection, auditing, and ensuring security, i.e. we process the data to safeguard our legitimate interests in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. 
2.3. Use of services offered on our website - Suppliers
At Hawker Pacific Aerospace, we know you care about protection of your personal data. Because we care, we have adopted the practices described below for suppliers and potential suppliers. You should not access Hawker's supplier registration portal until you have carefully read this portion of our privacy policy and agree to the terms and conditions described in it.
We respect the privacy of our business partners and are committed to comply with the applicable privacy laws in every country in which we operate. This portion of our privacy policy is intended to inform you about how personally identifiable information you submit within your company profile through the supplier registration process will be handled and protected by Hawker Pacific Aerospace.
2.3.1. Why we collect and use your personally identifiable information
Supplier registration process is designed to collect information about your company's qualifications as a potential supplier. When you choose to participate in our supplier registration process you will be asked to provide Hawker Pacific Aerospace with information about your company and its capability together with certain personal data such as contact information for key personnel. The personal data that you provide will be used to assist us in matching your company's capabilities to our requirements. This personal data will also be used to contact and identify you throughout the supplier evaluation process. 
2.3.2. Disclosures of your personal data
Access to your personal data will be restricted to staff who have a need to know the specific information in question in order to carry out their responsibilities with regard to our procurement process. Your information may also be disclosed to governmental entities pursuant to and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, or a subpoena or court order.
We are not in the business of selling your personal data to others. We do not reveal personal data about you to unaffiliated third parties, unless: (1) you request or authorize it; (2) the information is provided to help complete a transaction for you; (3) the information is provided to comply with the law, applicable regulations, court orders or subpoenas, to enforce our Terms of use or other agreements, or to protect our rights, property, or safety or the rights, property or safety of our users or others (e.g., to a consumer reporting agency for fraud protection etc.); or (4) the disclosure is done as part of a purchase, transfer or sale of services or assets (e.g., in the event that substantially all of the assets of an applicable business are acquired by another party).

2.3.3. How we collect personal data about you
Hawker Pacific Aerospace collects and stores personal information that you provide us through our shared CRM system, and a backup of the information on our secured servers. This includes but not limited to information submitted during the supplier registration process.
2.3.4. Your access to your personal data
Once you have established a supplier profile with Hawker Pacific Aerospace, you can request any information regarding you as well as correct or update the information it contains, at any time.
2.4. Our legitimate interests in processing personal data
Where Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR is the legal basis for processing, our legitimate interests – apart from the purposes stated above – are:
• Protecting the company against material or non-material damage
• Making our products and services more professional
• Optimizing (controlling and minimizing) costs
2.5. Other processing obligations
Where we are obligated by law, we process personal data to comply with retention obligations under commercial law or to meet statutory requirements relating to security. You can find more information on retention periods in the section "Duration of data processing" below. 
3. Duration of data processing
Your personal data is erased as soon as it is no longer required for the specified purposes. It may be the case that personal data is retained for the period of time in which claims may be asserted against Hawker Pacific Aerospace. In addition, personal data is stored if and for as long as Hawker Pacific Aerospace is obligated by law to do so.
4. Right to object in accordance with Article 21 of the GDPR
You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you which is based on Article 6(1)(e) or (f) of the GDPR, including profiling based on those provisions.

In the context of the use of information society services, and notwithstanding Directive 2002/58/EC, you may exercise your right to object by automated means using technical specifications. 
5. Disclosure of personal data to third party
We may be required to forward your personal data to third parties within or outside the Lufthansa Group in order to be able to offer you our products and services on the basis of our contractual obligations or our legitimate interests. These recipients can be categorized as follows:
• Service providers
• Transportation and logistics
• Marketing
• IT
• Government bodies and authorities
• Members of the Lufthansa Technik Group

In the process, personal data may be transferred to third countries or international organizations. In order to protect you and your personal data, there are suitable safeguards in such cases as stipulated by and in compliance with statutory requirements (in particular the use of EU standard contractual clauses) or there is an adequacy decision adopted by the EU Commission (Article 45 of the GDPR).

We are also obligated by law to provide personal data to German and international authorities (Article 6 (1) point (c) of the GDPR in conjunction with local and international regulations and agreements.
